About the facilitator
Our facilitator Cheryl Edwards is a registered nurse who has 36 years’ experience in residential aged care management.
Cheryl has worked for small and large private and not-for-profit providers, in both corporate and operational roles, and in leadership development programs.
She holds qualifications in management, work health and safety and is a workplace trainer and assessor. Cheryl is also a Myers Briggs practitioner.
Cheryl delivers the workshop at your convenience – in a board meeting, out of hours, virtually or face-to-face, along with the opportunity to ask questions and network.

Board Governance workshop for aged care providers
The Board Governance workshop for aged care providers will help your Board Directors to better understand their roles and responsibilities and enable your organisation to be equipped to meet governance requirements and prepare for further reforms.
This workshop is available to individual organisations under a fee-for-service arrangement and designed to provide an overview of the practical implications of the Australian Government’s Governing for Aged Care reform.
Included is a brief discussion regarding changes to the proposed draft revised Aged Care Quality Standards in particular Standard 2, and relevant proposed regulations under the new Aged Care Act.
