– Anne Liddell, Head of Policy & Advocacy, ACCPA
Anne Liddell has over 20 years of experience working across policy, program, strategic and governance roles in all three levels of government. She has a Masters in Public Policy and has worked in aged care with a focus on the provider sector since December 2020. As part of her role at ACCPA, she leads a team of policy advisors who support proactive and responsive policy development across the breadth of the aged care sector. Anne’s focus is
to identify ways for the insights of ACCPA members to inform good policy design and in doing so, contribute to improving Australia’s aged care system.
– Dr Melanie Wroth, Chief Clinical Advisor, Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
Dr Wroth is the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s Chief Clinical Advisor and commenced with the Commission in 2019. Dr Wroth graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1981 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1992. She began her longstanding involvement in medical care for older Australians in 1990. Dr Wroth is a Senior Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She has been engaged in clinical teaching especially in Geriatric Medicine, and is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. She has been a consultant to the NSW Medical Council, and is a senior member of the Guardianship Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal
– Dr Lyn-Li Lim, Infection Disease Physician, VICNISS, Doherty Institute
Dr Lyn-li Lim is an Infectious Diseases physician at VICNISS at the Doherty Institute in Victoria and a consultant at the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. She has experience in supporting hospital IPC programs and outbreak management in healthcare facility settings. She has interests in healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial stewardship. She is involved in the research, development of clinical guidelines and delivery of educational information in the areas of infection prevention and control and infections. She also has a special interest in AMS in Australian aged care facilities with a focus on promoting quality use of antimicrobials and implementation of evidence-based practice using behaviour change approaches.
