3 June 2024: Winter Wellness campaign resources from Department of Health

The Department of Health (the Department), Tasmania has reinstated its Winter Wellness campaign for the 2024 winter season.

The Department has developed resources with tailored messaging for groups who may be at higher risk of severe illness from winter respiratory viruses (children under 5 years, Tasmanians 65+, Aboriginal people, and pregnant women).

They have provided a poster with Independent/Lifestyle villages and Home Care/Support providers across Tasmania, for operators to use at their discretion.

It includes information about vaccination, testing and who should take antiviral medicine, and actions everyone should take when sick.
